Bethlehem Branch AAUW awards college scholarships to female high school seniors and to women whose education has been interrupted. Scholarships are based on academic promise and financial need. The Scholarship Committee distributes the applications, screens, and interviews the applicants, and determines the awards.

Bethlehem Branch AAUW is now accepting applications for our scholarship program for adult women who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

Our eligibility criteria are:

  1. Women applying must be a resident of the Bethlehem Branch AAUW membership area. (This includes the City of Bethlehem, Hanover Township, Bethlehem Township, Fountain Hill, Freemansburg, Hellertown, and Saucon Valley.)
  2. Applicant must:

a. Have had her studies interrupted at some point for at least six months,

b. Have completed the equivalent of two years of college work, and

c. Be attending or have been accepted for the fall 2021 term at an accredited four-year college or university for undergraduate work.
